I made it through ten outfits which means it's time for YOU to be my stylist! I requested for help during the last challenge and you guys gave me great suggestions, so I'm doing it again!
Here's a reminder of my items:

You can look at the original post and through the last few day's posts to see items in detail. I have one dress and skirt that haven't been worn so you'll see them soon.
What combinations do you see?
Any layering options I haven't thought about?
What accessories do you think I should add to make a new outfit?
I welcome all advice and you just might see your suggestion here, I'll be sure to link to my stylist! Get creative in the comments and thanks for your help!
*P.S. I took the day off today since all I did was babysit and take a test. Just jeans, a tee, converse, and a sweatshirt. Tomorrow's look will make up for it though!
Liz- I love the idea of reaching out to your readers!!! After taking a quick glance I think you need to go Minnie Mouse chic and wear the black and white skirt with the red cardigan and a black tank underneath it and tie it all together with the yellow belt!!

That polka dot shirt must speak to everyone because that's the one I was eyeing. I might try the polka dot with the black and white cardi, skinny jeans and brown boots. I love love black and brown and it might be a fun way to mix up the patterns.

Gray top tucked-stripe skirt-brown Mary Jane.
White top-red cardi-stripe skirt-brown mary jane or black t-strap.
black top-gray cardi-stripe skirt-black heel or t-strap.
*I think I just really want to see that striped skirt*
floral top under black dress-colored tights-black shoe.
I think I'm out for the night. It's late. Good luck! This is fun!
I love your idea! I might have to copy it! And I love your items, there's so many combinations I would make out of them:
ReplyDeleteTeal shirt + Bow Polka Dot Skirt + t-strap flats or TOMs + tights (if necessary)
Polka Dot Shirt w/ black pants or skirt or the dark denim skirt + red cardigan + either the red loafers or black shoes
The vertical striped skirt + floral skirt + brown belt and brown boots
Teal shirt + printed cardigan + black pants rolled up into capris + a headband scarf for a more retro look
Black dress + printed cardigan + red belt + red loafers
Green dress layered over Black dress + grey or black cardigan if needed
Ok, i'll stop now. haha but this was such a fun idea!
1st tshirt, last cardigan, brown belt jeans and boots :)
ReplyDeleteThis may be a tad out there, but maybe play up the B&W and do the dot blouse under the B&W cardi with the black skirt? Then punch it up with some colorful accessories?
ReplyDeleteI second the polka dot top, striped skirt combo. Throw on that flower cardi for warmth and a little extra patterned punch or tone it down with the black cardigan.
ReplyDeleteI, too, like the idea of pairing the black & white top with the red cardi with blue denim. Ad for shoes, that's never be my trong suit, but I think black flats/ riding boots would look great. But then again, I'm not the most stylish person :o/
ReplyDeleteIt's been a great remix so far, skirts and pants in equal proportions.also color and black.I would love to see more belted looks!
ReplyDeletelove the idea of the floral top and jean skirt...maybe with the boots or toms. It could go either way! but I think both would be casual and fun!
ReplyDeletehey! cute blog! i love your idea! I would say...polka dot shirt with striped skirt and those orange flats you have in the picture!
ReplyDeletei only have a minute so i'll just throw one out there... at first glance i just see a color combo i like:
ReplyDeletered-orangey cardi + teal pattern tunic/dress + your cute little gray hat + tights/leggings (black? maybe deep eggplantish purple?) + annnd i'm thinking the brown boots.
I love this, what a great idea!! When you are getting pretty desperate(i.e. out of ideas), I would suggest wearing a top over one of your dresses and belting it (that's my plan!).
