dinosaurs and young the giant

First of all, thank you to all who posted on my body image post!  It's great to hear that it was well received and that I was able to inspire a few of you to reevaluate how you perceive your shape!  The great thing about this blogging community is the support that exists between bloggers and readers alike, thank you so much!

Now let's get to how I spent my 3 day weekend...
SATURDAY - Burke Museum

I wore this outfit two days in a row actually!  Now I'm no longer ahead of the 30 for 30!  Again, I belted this dress a little shorter, I'm definitely going to hem it up soon because this length is a lot more versatile.  Chris and I went to the Burke Museum to check out some dinosaur bones, cultural artifacts and shiny baubles.  We took lots of cheesy, blurry photos :)

The most awesome dinosaur ever: The Stegosaurus!!


Chris with a new to me dinosaur: The Plesiosaurus, it had a really long neck to attack predators, this lived in the water!

SUNDAY - Young the Giant and Mother Mother @ the Tractor Tavern
Ever since I saw Young the Giant open for Marina and the Diamonds in September I've been obsessed with them!  They are my favorite new band, and we got to see them again on Sunday!!

Sorry for the crappy quality, we took these while waiting for the bus!  Before the concert we grabbed some amazing enchiladas from Señor Moose Cafe in Ballard, seriously tasty, but I didn't snap any photos!  Anyway I leave you with photos of the concert and some videos so you can rock out this week after the jump!!
