Lately I've been gravitating towards wearing dresses or skirts on the weekend because I feel like I don't have much of an opportunity to wear them at work. In my last post I mentioned my recent difficulties in meshing my personal style with my very casual/engineering/male-dominated workplace.
In the next couple weeks I'm going to slowly start channeling more of my style in my work wear because I really have nothing to fear. I may get some glances or questions but wearing what I like is not going to hurt my credibility or performance. In face a happier more productive employee is never a bad thing! Based on my recent performance evaluation I also have the guts to settle in more because I got some great feedback, I have nothing to fear or prove after working full-time for two months!
So you best hold me accountable okay? The next weekly workfits is going to involve some prints, skirts, and bold colors or else!
